Letter to Editor: Grateful

A week ago today I had to call 911 for my husband. I cannot thank the fire department/EMT team that showed up immediately, enough. They were extremely professional and kind, providing transportation to Banner Ironwood. He received excellent care there and was home in two days.

I also want to thank early morning walkers from our street. Yuko, Dennis and Jill carry a garbage bag with them and clean up our streets every morning. I am so impressed with how they turn their personal work out into a service that benefits all of us.

With all the negativity going on, I wanted to be intentional in calling out the good things!!

I'm grateful.
